Abstract

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of the yacht club building with a restaurant, gallery and the design of the adjacent public space. The area under consideration is located in the city district of Prague 7 - Holešovice, at the dead end of the Vltava river and between apartment buildings and the administrative building of České přístavy. The building will have two main functions: a yacht club with a restaurant and a gallery. Part of the planned building will be underground parking and a pier for mooring ships. The building's connection to the adjacent public space is also an element of the solution.
