Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is the analysis and evaluation of environmental accounting in a selected business company and the elaboration of a proposal for effective measures from the point of view of environmental protection. This work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on defining the theoretical and legal aspects of environmental management systems and environmental management accounting. In the practical part, an analysis and evaluation of the environmental state in a selected business company is performed. Based on the analysis, specific recommendations for improving the environmental potential of the business company are given.
