Rozhraní mezi kamenivem a matricí v alkalicky aktivovaných materiálech

Abstract

The dissertation thesis deals with interfacial transition zone in alkali activated concretes and influences of this zone on mechanical parameters. Author works with selected types of aggregate and study the properties of prepared concrete and structure of interfacial transition zone. Several analytical and testing methods are used to achieve defined goals. The focus of the work is limited to alkali-activated materials based on blast furnace slag. This limitation is chosen due to the author's previous focus and experience. Alkali-activated slag is also closer in structure to conventional Portland cement. This makes it possible to rely on the knowledge already acquired in the area under study. Several analytical and testing methods are used to achieve the defined objectives. The thesis provides information on the possibilities of investigating the subject and presents the findings obtained and describes the broad issues that affect the possibilities of investigating the subject in alkaline-activated blast-furnace slag-based materials.
