Analýza ohrožení osoby fragmentací střel po nárazu do ocelového plátu ochranné balistiky

Abstract

The subject of this diploma thesis is the comparison of the effects of bullet fragments of various calibers after hitting a steel plate on soft tissue. Biological gelatin, which has similar properties to ballistic gel, was used as a substitute for soft tissue. Subsequently, the work deals with the production of improvised shrapnel protection. Based on the effects of the fragments on the gelatin blocks, the danger arising from the impact of the steel plate itself and the steel plate with applied improvised shrapnel protection materials is evaluated. The theoretical part discusses the issue of ballistic protection for individuals, including the injuries that can occur after being hit by bullet fragments. The practical part describes and evaluates the actual testing of the selected materials.
