Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to disign the implementation of lean manufacuring principles in Gramex spol. s.r.o. company. The concept of lean manufacturing, it´s elemental principles, history and sorts of wasting is explained in theoretical part. In practical part, is the analysis of selected manufacuring process using the VSM, performed. In this map of value stream was defined sites that shows sign of wasting. After identifying these sites, the improvememt proposal by changes of supplying, storage and implement the 5S method, was made.
