Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the topic of support of process management through ICT. It focuses on process management, process modeling, and enterprise information systems. The theoretical background defines management and process management, its breakdowns, advantages and disadvantages, the essence of process management, process identification and modeling with an emphasis on BPMN 2.0. It also defines the meaning, features and terminology of ICT, corporate IS, and the process of their implementation in the company's process management. Research in the thesis includes evaluation of the corporate IS, process identification and business model of the company, proposal of process support through modification of the current IS system and design of new IS functions to avoid errors and discrepancies.
