Zhodnocení investičního projektu

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the efficiency of funds invested by Siemens Ltd., branch Electric Frenstat to shorten assembly lines 2 and 4. Funds were drowned from the company's own resources, it is an unencumbered investment. Indicators selected for the evaluation of investment is the net present value, return on investment and payback period. The Company is focused on production of electric motors of axial height 250, 280 and 315.

The selected indicators show positive values so they meet the acceptance criteria and the investment project is beneficial to company. It makes the plant able to produce the same output at lower costs.

My recommendation is that the company has to focus on its other production departments in which they would like to rearrange the operations on the assembly lines. It could be another important contribution to company’s future development and market position.

Investment decisions greatly affect the economic stability of the company, so it is the core activity of the corporate management.
