Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the comprehensive use of Lean Management and Lean Six Sigma tools for optimizing processes in a medium-sized enterprise operating in the freight transport sector. The objective is to analyze selected operational areas and identify bottlenecks and sources of waste using Lean and Six Sigma methods. Based on the findings, specific measures are proposed to improve operational efficiency. The practical part applies the DMAIC methodology, with emphasis on measurement and analysis of areas such as invoicing, parking, speed, emissions, and the human factor. The final output consists of recommendations aimed at increasing performance and reducing operational costs.
