Abstract
The theme of bachelor thesis is financial analysis in clothing industry. The main objective of this thesis is financial analysis of Baťa Company by using horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio analysis using selected indicators of profitability, liquidity, activity, debt and stability. Subsequently, the analysis is focused on the return of equity capital. The company is compared with the whole industry, if the information were available. Thesis is divided into theoretical and two practical chapters. The theoretical part describes methods which are used in practical part of this thesis. The practical part is based on financial statements of Baťa Company from 2009 to 2013.
