Abstract

These days remote data measurement and data transfer are very useful from multiple points of view and finds it’s use in several areas. Especially then in transportation. This kind of data measurement and transfer is called telemetry. Telemetry allows monitoring of vehicle data almost in real time and also allows monitoring of several vehicles at the same time. Device which does these functions isn’t too big or expensive. If we enhance vehicle source data by position data acquired by GPS and we relate those two kind of data to each other, then we can show measured source vehicle data on the map and as result information value is much bigger. Data presented in this way allows very detailed analysis and finds it’s usage in several business and public fields, from transportation companies to rescue and security services.
