Problematika nasazení metody ITU-T Y.1564 v optických přístupových sítích

Abstract

This Master Thesis is focused on~testing methodology in~Ethernet based passive optical networks. The main goal of~this thesis is confrontation of measurement based on~RFC 2544 recommendation and ITU-T Y.1564 (EtherSAM) standard in~light~of triple play services deployment. The theoretical part deal with basic description and modifications of~optical access networks. Furthermore, the recommadation and standard are discussed in~detail. At~the beginning of~practical part, used devices, their description and configuration are included. Next, test data indicate that measuring based on~EtherSAM methodology has better potential for~SLA verification than RFC 2544. Moreover, the benefit of~this thesis is configuration manual for~EtherNID as a~loopback unit.
