Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the legal regulation of the status of the Police of the Czech Republic and its practical role in dealing with cases of domestic violence. The aim is to describe the current legal framework, organizational structure, historical development, and a comparison with the Slovak legal system. The practical part analyzes police procedures related to domestic violence, including the use of expulsion measures, statistical data, and reflections on police practice. The outcome includes suggestions for improving police work in this sensitive area, with an emphasis on prevention and victim protection.
