Měření vlivu simulovaného atmosférického přenosového prostředí pro modulovaný optický svazek

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the effects of atmospheric optical phenomena on the selected modulations made in the Labview development environment. The functionality itself was implemented using a software-defined radio. Modulations that have been tested are two state binary modulation, phase shift keying, pulse amplitude modulation, quadrature amplitude modulation, and orthogonal frequency division multiplex. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the error of BER against simulated optical phenomena, and subsequent statistical evaluation. The individual simulated phenomena that affected the optical beam were thermal turbulence, fog and rain.
