Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with analysis of food producers´ attitudes to quality labels. The aim of the thesis was to detect what prompted the producers to have their products certified by quality labels, what they expected and what was their real experience after product certification by quality labels, whether the use of quality labels is beneficial for them, and to suggest recommendations leading to better utilization of quality labels. Application part was focused on food producers using quality labels Klasa and Czech product - guaranteed by Food Chamber of the Czech Republic. The data was obtained from 94 food producers that use these quality labels and was subsequently evaluated. Results showed producers’ satisfaction with the certification process and with the use of quality labels, reasons that led to the certification, issues concerning quality labels and subsequently were proposed recommendations to producers and administrators of quality labels.
