Studium vlivu sekundárních karbidů Cr na mechanické a užitné vlastnosti legovaných litin s kuličkovým grafitem pro speciální použití

Abstract

This work is focused on the study of secondary chromium carbides in terms of their influence on mechanical and utility properties of alloyed ductile iron used as a core layer in the production of double-layer centrifugally cast cylinders in Vítkovické slévárny, spol. s r.o. The research consists of intentionally adding Cr to the initial batch and followed by casting test bars according to the Lynchburg test. These bars are used to make samples for mechanical and metallurgical tests, which are compared with each other. A total of five variations of batches with different values of Cr are proposed for evaluation.

The theoretical part of this thesis presents a literature study on the technology of production of centrifugally cast cylinders and their properties and on the production of ductile iron.
