Abstract

Question of under level mining like the way that in certain cases can effectively exploit coal reserves, has been recently discussed. At the same time period, but preserve collieries in different countries this method of cooking coal seams for mining more and more. A similar situation exists in the Ostrava-Karviná Mining District where under level mining at the moment prevails. The dissertation examined various aspects of the method particularly in terms of how to improve its safety and effectiveness.
