Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with assessment of the physical safety risks of the elementary school in Ostrava Poruba. The theoretical part deals with the prevention of crime, its structure, its interconnection with physical protection, and the law dealing with crime prevention in safety management at schools. The theory follows description of the elementary school and the information about the current state obtained from the surveys and the school meetings. A risk assessment has been carried out according to ČSN 73 4400. Finally, there are recommendations for correction and innovative ideas for improvement of school safety are mentioned at the end of the diploma thesis.
