Abstract
The company Arcelor Mittal Technotron Ltd. deals winding sheets. The company has a problem with a winding core. The core deforms during winding a transformer sheet. It happens after a certain number of cycle.
This thesis examines influence of high temperatures on structure and mechanical properties of the cores. The steel 12050 is compared with steel 15320 in the experimental part of thesis. The comparison includes determining a degree of decarbonization, hardness, mechanical properties and chemical compositions.
