Abstract

This thesis deals with Information System for Procurement. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the process of placing the public procurements to "IS authority profile" and in case some deficiencies are found to suggest possible solutions. The thesis is divided into five chapters. Introduction is focused on defining the basic terms necessary for understanding public procurements. The further part is devoted to the legislation governing the types and conditions of procurement procedures and placing the procurements into the information system. The practical part of the thesis will analyze the "IS authority profile" and system administrator and its practice. The process of entering VZ is applied to the company Ovanet a.s.; this company will be evaluated as for offered services quality and impact of the competitive environment. The results obtained from the process of the public procurements being placed by Ovanet a.s. will be used in conclusion in order to recommend improvements as well as given process will be evaluated.
