Ekologicko-faunistická charakteristika denních motýlů (Hesperioidea, Papilionoidea) pohornické krajiny (Doubrava)

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the ecological-faunistic characteristics of diurnal butterflies (Hesperioidea, Papilionoidea) in selected habitats of the post-mining landscape of the municipality of Doubrava. The main objective of this thesis was to introduce diurnal butterflies as a significant group of organisms that can be used to indicate landscape changes, as well as to become familiar with their biology, ecology, methods of capture, and determination of this taxon. The theoretical part describes not only the general characteristics of diurnal butterflies, their biology, and ecology, but also their bioindicator significance, causes of endangerment, and protection. The natural conditions of the research area are also described. In the practical part, the implementation of the research is presented. The general characteristics of the selected habitats are described, along with the methodology of the study, and all the results of the research are presented.
