Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the measurement of battery capacity, which is an important process
that is carried out to determine the amount of energy that can be obtained from a given battery.
This process is important to ensure the proper functioning of devices that use batteries as a source
of energy. Accurate measurement of battery capacity is key to ensuring their optimal use. Correct
measurement allows users to identify potential problems in time and thus ensure timely maintenance
and possible battery replacement when necessary. The work further deals with the implementation
of a program for the ESP32 microcontroller, designed for communication between the electronic load
and the ESP32 microcontroller, with which it communicates via the UART interface and subsequent
uploading data via serial communication to an SD card. The designed device also includes an OLED
display, which informs about the status of the load discharge process.
