The aim of this Diploma Thesis is analysis and evaluation of benefits of EU structural aid in the Czech Republic in the context of the Community Support Framework of the Czech Republic in Programming Period 2004 – 2006 EU Cohesion Policy and its financial instruments are playing in today's enlarged European Union a key role in the economic, social and territorial development of regions. Membership of the Czech Republic in the European Union brings a lot of benefits and opportunities. One of the interesting and valuable opportunities is utilization of EU Structural funds through a specific structure of programming documents in the framework of EU Cohesion Policy in the Czech Republic. This Diploma Thesis analyzes structural aid in the Czech Republic which was provided by the Community Support Framework of the Czech Republic in Programming Period 2004 – 2006 and evaluates financial and factual progress of utilization of EU Structural funds during programming period 2004 – 2006.
