Úroveň sportovního vyžití v Prostějově z hlediska spokojenosti obyvatel

Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess the satisfaction level of local residents in the city of Prostějov with current sporting opportunities in the city itself and its surroundings and then based on obtained findings to suggest possible changes and improvements. Thesis is divided into two parts. The first one deals with theoretical assumptions related to the issue. In the second part, the practical one, firstly the city of Prostějov is characterised and its sports venues, sports facilities and sports clubs are presented. SWOT analysis results describing current state of sporting opportunities are included. Investigation using questionnaires was the prevalent research technique used in the thesis. The research has provided various opinions and points of view of local residents to the issue. Based on research results several conclusions have been drawn and few recommendations have been offered. Questionnaire results revealed that local residents are relatively satisfied with current sporting opportunities. However, there is still room for improvements.
