Abstract

The thesis deals with the legislation and concepts associated with the issue of ignition of flammable liquids. Describes the substance, which are FAME and diesel. Contains the characteristics of physico-chemical properties and a fire-safety parameters of these substances. There are laboratory determined the temperature of ignition for these two liquids according to the standards CSN EN 14522. Examines the effect of addition of FAME in diesel fuels on the temperature of ignition. Is focused on the study of the second ignition of the liquids and their mixtures. It deals with safety in the use and storage of liquids. Part of the job is to verify the functionality of the aparatur by means of reference of flammable liquids, which are n-heptane and acetone.
