Výstavba WDM-PON s využitím programového prostředí Optiwave

Abstract

This thesis deals with description of Passive optical networks. The main focus is on the use of the wavelength division multiplexing in passive optical networks WDM-PON. First part consists of theoretical analysis of current passive optical network, their possible solutions, descriptions of individual standards and their comparison. The special attention is dedicated to WDM-PON networks. The second part of this thesis deals with suggestion of trial WDM-PON network in simulated program Optisystem from Optiwave Company. The thesis then contains its assemble in real conditions at experimental workplace WDM-PON. At the end, recorded values are compared and evaluated.
