Možnosti využití vedlejších energetických produktů k sorpci fosforu

Abstract

The major problem of stagnant water in summer months is a large amount of cyanophytes. This situation is caused by water eutrophication. One of the main causes of eutrophication is high phosphorus content in water. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine possible use of industrial by-products, particularly fly-ashes, during the removal of phosphorus from water using sorption. The final part of the thesis focuses on the results of sorption, depending on the initial concentration of phosphorus in water. It also compares the efficiency of sorption using different samples of fly-ashes.
