Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to provide a survey about the problems of insurance fraud, to define insurance fraud from the criminal view and to classify it according to the most used criterion of the criminal methodology. In the following part I deal with the causes and the consequences of this criminal act as well as I analyse the statistical data about this problems. Last but not least I resolve possibilities of the prevention and the measures against the insurance fraud witch are used by the insurance subject. The thesis is divided into four main parts. The first chapter deals with legal form of the insurance fraud and its criminal aspect. In the second chapter there are characterized the types of the insurance fraud according to attack objective with the practical examples. The third chapter is closely devotes to causes and the consequences of the criminal act insurance fraud. The last chapter is focused on the prevention and the measures fight against the insurance fraud.
