Abstract
The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe principles of electrocrystalization and possibilities of its influention, especially with organic additives. Mentioned patterns will be applied in technologically focused part of the work on galvanically excluded decorative coating like copper-nickel-chromium, as well as in experimental part.
The theoretical part focuses on the principles of electroplating, especially on the process of electrocrystallization and factors that influence it. The following part aims at the detailed description of the technology of electroplating with copper-nickel-chromium system, which is still highly used in a car industry on steel as well as plastic bedding. Special attention is devoted to nickel coating, its role in the decorative coating system and possibilities of its influention with organic additives.
In the experimental part nickel pools with various organic satin additives will be prepared, from which there will be launched nickel coating on steel formula in different time intervals. The influence of „ageing“ of the pools will be consequently assessed on final morphology and gloss of coat.
