Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design and static solution of a wood-based single-room hall. Several computational models were created in Scia Engineer 17.1 for static analysis. The thesis contains the theoretical part, which deals with frame systems and frame corners of timber structures. The theoretical part is followed by the calculation of the load on the structure, the assessment of the supporting elements, the assessment of the selected joints and the numerical analysis of the frame connection with the mechanical connecting means. A physical test was created for the frame joint, which responded to the real scale of the selected joint.
