Abstract

The present work deals with laboratory exercises focused on ion exchange. In the theoretical part defines the basic terms related to ion exchange. The following part deals with experiments which have been tested under the design exercises. This chapter is a discussion of experimental results. In the next section, there are instructions to laboratory exercises. Tutorials include two tasks. Determination of exchange capacity of strongly acidic cation exchanger and reducing the hardness of water using ion exchangers. Finally there are the results of experiments, which were tested, and comments on the proposed laboratory tasks.
