Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to apply the Balanced Scorecard method into the company called MATEICIUC a. s. The company produces plastics. This thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, efficiency, methods for measuring efficiency and the Balanced Scorecard method are described. In the application part, 4 perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard are identified – financial perspective, customer perspective, internal process perspective and learning and growth perspective. Financial analysis, market research and employee satisfaction survey are included. The customer satisfaction and employee’s satisfaction of the company are found out. Value chain is created for the company processes. Based on results of each of the perspectives, the company strategy is clarified and strategic goals are set. Each strategic goal is determined by a measure and a target value which the goal should achieve. Each of the goals is showed in a strategy map. To achieve the strategic goals, strategic initiatives are identified for each perspective and must be fulfilled. The implementation of the Balanced Scorecard into company’s information system is also involved.
