Abstract

The diploma thesis is aimed on a study of occupational safety issues and study of optimal methodology for risk assessmentm issues, with regards to a valid legislation and specialist literature. The theoretical part of the thesis delineate the purpose of methodologies elaboration and risk assessment analysys. Subsequently, it determines the scope of risk assessment requirements in a medium-sized company and then explains the core of methodologies, directives and analyzes. The practical part of the diploma thesis analyzes the valid laws, government regulations and technical standards, which the requirements for occupational safety and risk assessment are set in. According to these requirements the propositions of a variant methodologies verificated in operation are prepared. The main point is designing and editing the optimal variant of risk assessment methodology for a specific example. The optimized risk assessment variant can be used as a basis for a real risk assessments in a practice.
