VÍTEK, M.: Numerical analysis of selected elements of the building structure for the consequences of an explosion, Diploma Thesis VŠB – TU Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2023, 51 p.
The presented diploma thesis deals with the numerical modeling of the behavior of selected elements of the building structure after an explosion. The work focuses on the structural analysis of selected structural elements, including the assessment of its response. The introductory part of the diploma thesis with an introduction to the topic and the issue of explosions. In the theoretical part, the current state and statistics of the occurrence and causes of explosions for the Czech Republic and examples from industry are further evaluated. This part is followed by a chapter that deals with the effect of explosions on the building structure and its response. In the practical part, the description and methodology of the simulations and calculations carried out in the SCIA Engineer program is carried out. The conclusion of the work evaluates and compares individual simulations and summarizes the results and findings. The aim of the work is to focus on the analysis of the response of the building construction during an explosion.
