Stanovení sanačního limitu pro zeminy kontaminované radionuklidy v areálech po těžbě a úpravě uranu

Abstract

The presented diploma thesis evaluates various approaches in determining the target values of parameters of remediation of soils contaminated with natural radionuclides during the obliteration of the results of mining activity and surface disposal of areas after uranium mining and processing in the Českolipsko region. The decision-making process of the method and extent of remediation was described based on a field survey of two representative areas which underwent surface disposal of underground and chemical mining of uranium and the solution of remediation of an example area contaminated with radionuclides. Part of the problematics is also a description of the method of storage of contaminated material and the issue of remediation limits, in relation to the exposure of the population and the environment to ionizing radiation. The results of the discussion resulted in recommendations for the DIAMO s.p. organization to amend the previous measurements and to improve existing work procedures in the examining of surface remediation.
