Abstract

The master's thesis focuses on the development of the architectural and construction design of the project documentation for a residential building in the construction implementation detail, in accordance with Decree No. 499/2006 Coll., Annex No. 13. The thesis consists of textual and drawing parts. The subject of the project is a new four-story residential building in Brno. An integral part of the thesis includes a static calculation of a three-arm reinforced concrete staircase, including the design of reinforcement, a thermal technical calculation of the building's envelope structures, and an energy certificate for the building envelope in accordance with ČSN 73 0540-2 (2011).

The residential building is designed as a standalone structure with a footprint of 18.42 x 12.42 m, consisting of one underground floor and four above-ground floors, with the top floor forming an inhabited attic. The building is founded on concrete strip footings, and the underground part of the external wall is constructed from lost formwork blocks filled with concrete. The above-ground part utilizes the Heluz masonry system, with ceramic horizontal ceiling structures from the Heluz MIAKO system. The roof is a gable type with interlocking ceramic tiles by Tondach, and the dormer features a metal roof covering by Comax.

The work is divided into two parts: textual and drawing. The textual part includes the technical report, thermal performance calculation, energy certificate for the building envelope, and the static calculation of the staircase. The drawing part comprises construction drawings and element schedules.

The result is a comprehensive project for a residential building, serving as a basis for construction and meeting requirements for functionality, efficiency, and safety.
