Abstract

Processing of micro-alloyed steels in conditions of hot rolling mill with the use of technology thermomechanical rolling. Assessment of suitability of the chemical composition of the steel and technology used to achieve the desired quality of the final product corresponding to standards for hot rolled sheets, according to standards EN 10255, repeatability of production for final use components offshore structures. Proposed chemical composition of the steel manufacturing process technology enables the achievement of the required quality parameters produced plates thicknesses up to 40 mm. Test methods describe adequately state of material quality and they lead to critical parameters determination of technology in terms of hot rolling mill EVS.
