The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of the winery and wine house with public space in the wine town of Modra, at the eastern part of the Lesser Carpathians. The proposed subjects are located on the periphery of the town of Modra, on the northern part of the hill, popularly called „Gutnár“, in the Modra wine-growing district. The terrain is sloping and oriented to the southeast. The proposal responds to the requirement for the creation of a wine-growing area for organisation of public events and presentation of the Modra vineyard district as well as building the neighbouring family wine house with complete technical facilities from processing to wine sales, wine tasting and accommodation.
