Analýza zásob ve společnosti CZ LOKO, a.s.

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on inventory analysis in the company CZ LOKO. It is based on theoretical knowledge achieved during the studies, technical books and regular observations in the company and consulting with workers. The diploma thesis is divided into four main parts. At first the theoretical information from logistics and inventory controlling areas are showed. Other parts are focused on company characteristics and own inventory analysis. The summarization of analysis, possible solutions and recommendations are written in the last part. Inventory is analyzed from few views: total inventory and its development, inventory activity indicators, dividing of inventory into ABC and XYZ groups, analysis by types of warehouses and non-active inventory. The results are showing that company has some symptoms of wrong inventory controlling, which are possible to improve by launching of CRM system, bar codes, hiring of a new employee or selling of unneeded material.
