Abstract

The thesis deals with the impact of organizational culture on employee satisfaction and job performance in a selected organization. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out if and how organizational culture affects employee satisfaction and performance in company XY. The theoretical part defines and characterizes organizational culture, along with related concepts. It describes the elements, functions and characteristics of organizational culture, along with the typologies that examine it. The practical part introduces the selected company, it's structure and the organizational values that the company shares. It also analyses the results of a questionnaire survey and a structured interview conducted in company XY. Based on the findings, recommendations are proposed to improve the organizational culture and its impact on employee performance and satisfaction.
