Abstract
This diploma thesis is focused on elaboration of a studies on possibilities of using stress tests in verification of safety preparedness. The work explains what the stress test and safety preparedness are. The available stress test options for crisis situations in the Czech Republic and abroad are described. The last part of this diploma thesis is a proposal of a possible procedure for verification of safety preparedness in the area.
