Abstract

The topic of the diploma thesis is comparison of financial health of company ZOWADA GROUP a.s. with rival company and steel industry. The aim is to recommend and evaluate proposals for improving the financial situation. The thesis has two parts. The first part contains theoretical knowledge and describe methods of financial analysis, objectives and calculation of indicators. Benchmarking is characterized also. In the second part, the theoretical findings are applied in the practise. With the help of financial indicators is find out level of the company.
