Abstract

The issue of sustainable development and utilization of all possible methods for energetic purposes is very popular nowadays. This thesis is focused on renewable power resource - the biomass which I consider to be a great contribution for the living environment as well as for “redundant agricultural land” utilization. That would be a considerable benefit for agrarians, who are facing up against many problems. The task of OZE is applied to a company Teplo Braňany Ltd. which makes a use of ingredient rudecoverts for its own need. My intention is to compare heating costs of current and newly constructed equipment for OZE combustion and to find out whether the transition to a different source would be feasible and profitable.
