Abstract

Effective employee motivation is a key factor for the success of an organisation. This thesis focuses on assessing the current state of employee motivation and remuneration in a selected company X. The theoretical part of the thesis analyses various aspects of motivation, including definitions, types and theories of motivation, as well as employee reward concepts, including financial and non-financial forms of reward. The practical part focuses on the characteristics of company X and the analysis of its current motivation and reward system through a questionnaire survey and interviews. Based on the results obtained, recommendations are formulated for improving employee motivation and satisfaction at company X.
