Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals to explain the visualization of maps, spatial calculations of solar and photovoltaic systems. The first part of the work focuses on the study of interactive maps of the EU (Photovoltaic geographical information system) and to the description of the calculations and the input data used to develop application; it is a calculation of the intensity of solar radiation data and elevations data SRTM and AGDEM. The second part is devoted to the development of custom applications and comparing the capabilities of individual technologies for displaying maps. Applications use the Open Source control from the project GMaps.NET, Google maps and Silverlight Bing maps. In conclusion, results are compared to the EU model with own solutions.
