Abstract

"Production and extraction of aggregates for construction purposes from waist rocks during tunneling" dissertation thesis focuses on the processing of the "mass" that is produced after the tunnel complex excavation. It deals with the subject of the current use of surplus material. This material is generated during the construction of complex underground engineering works in different rock environments. Therefore it is desirable to determine whether the material could be further processed. The raw material from the mined tunnels was taken, evaluated and tested in a certified laboratory according to Czech technical standards. The resulting values show the material's potential for further use in the construction industry.
