Stanislav Lichorobiec Ph.D. The aim of this thesis is to review the current state of a town´s security and, subsequently, its security risks. The main goal of the thesis is to elaborate an innovative concept of ensuring the town´s residents´ safety. In the first part of the thesis a detailed description of the particular town, its individual districts (locations) and a current state of its security maintenance can be found. Research is performed and processed in the next part, followed by a revision and identification of the security risks. In the last part, municipality police activity and security surveillance systems are described. An innovative concept of a municipality police establishment in the particular town and a subsequent proposition of implementation of a town camera surveillance system follow up the theoretical part.
