Abstract

The goal of the thesis named “Analysis of Inventory” is to propose the inventory management system for the most important and problematic items of direct material, which would reduce the average amount of inventory and tied capital, which will be able to ensure a smooth production process. The role of the theoretical part is to explain the basic concepts of inventory, inventory management systems and analysis of inventory. The aim of the practical part is to do analysis of inventory and analysis of the inventory management system in the company. Based on the results of the analysis of the practical part, in the part of the suggestions and recommendations will be set new inventory management system for the most important and problematic items of direct material. The new inventory management system will be verified, whether this system can ensure sufficient material for the production.
