Možnosti rozvoje Hodonínska a Břeclavska

Abstract

The theme of my master thesis focuses on two towns, Hodonin and Breclav in South Moravia, and presents a vision for the development of tourism and visitor services in their respective CRP (County Regional Planning) region. The thesis proposes and describes 3 projects satisfying the developmental vision for the land area administered by the two county seats. The second chapter of my work intends to inform about historical developments surrounding local administration of the region. Additionally described in the chapter are the European Union‘s development strategy and related documents for the Czech republic covering the period of 2007 to 2013 and an approach to obtaining financial subsidies from the Union for regional development. The third chapter follows up with a description of some of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Hodonin/Breclav region, and includes an overview of several successfully completed projects supporting the development of tourism and visitor services. The fourth chapter contains an elaborated vision for the development of tourism and visitor services in the years 2011 to 2021 and a proposal for the funding of 3 regional projects, two of which are located in the CRP Hodonin and one located in the CRP Breclav.
