Abstract
Controlled rolling is nowadays one of the frequent applied technologies in new rolling plants. These technologies lead to reach lower cost of the production and the following processes, especially heat treatment. Diploma thesis deals with one of the aspects of controlled rolling i. e. influence of finishing temperature to structural and mechanical properties of structural steel. The possibilities of application of controlled rolling (normalizing) technology on existing rolling mill plant in Bohumin are given.
