Abstract

This work deals with the design of the linescan CMOS image sensor control system based on the Field Programmable Gate Array technology. The image sensor used is the RPLIS2048. The design includes basic sensor control, timing and exposure control components as well as components of image data access and USB communication. A part of the design is a camera module hardware as well. The design was implemented with means of VHDL on the Nexys2 development board equipped with a Spartan-3E family FPGA.
